This is a very personal subject for me. The way elderly, especially those with dementia, are treated often feels taboo. They're sometimes seen only as patients to be managed, rather than as people who still feel, experience, and reflect. We tend to reduce them to their illness instead of seeing them as they are.

The love aspect in the story came from two people with dementia I saw who were a couple. It was something pure and deeply moving. That inspired me to combine these ideas; to show humanity through one of the most powerful emotions, love.

Elderly people are relatable to everyone, and those who've known people with dementia will recognize the human aspects portrayed. I hope it brings back memories, helping people reconnect with their loved ones. By making abstract themes like death and dementia tangible, the film becomes something universal — meant for everyone.
